Abbotsford police say two sent to hospital after three-vehicle crash

Police say two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Abbotsford Wednesday afternoon.

In a release, the Abbotsford Police Department says it happened shortly after 2 p.m. when they received reports of three vehicles crashing along Townline Road.

Officers saw three drivers at the scene when they arrived.

Two drivers were sent to the hospital, and one of them appears to have sustained life-threatening injuries.

The AbbyPD’s Traffic Enforcement Unit is at the scene for the initial investigation with the assistance of the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (I.C.A.R.S).

All lanes of Townline Road between Southern Drive and Upper Maclure Road in Abbotsford will remain closed until further notice, according to police.
