1 taken to hospital after serious crash in Langley

The RCMP says one person has been taken to hospital after a serious crash in Langley Saturday morning.

Police say the accident happened on 216th Street near 76th Avenue just after 10 a.m.

“We had located a passenger from that vehicle that we believed had serious injuries and was taken to a local area hospital,” Corp. Zynal Sharoom told 1130 NewsRadio.

“We have now confirmed that those injuries are not believed to be life threatening.”

216th Street was closed for a couple hours due to the accident, but it has since reopened.

The Langley RCMP is asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from this incident to call them at 604-532-3200.
