A cyclist in his 70s was struck by a vehicle in Scarborough on Friday afternoon, according to authorities.

The collision happened just before 5:00 p.m. on McNicoll Avenue, just west of McCowan Road.

Toronto Paramedic Services says the man was transported to a local hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
