Man charged in relation to Hatzic break and enter: Mission RCMP
A man has been charged in relation to a break and enter in Hatzic on Nov. 14, 2024, which saw firearms, jewelry, and other items allegedly stolen from a residential property.
On Tuesday this week, the Mission RCMP says police responded to a separate break and enter in progress at a farm property near No. 3 Road in Abbotsford. When they arrived, police arrested two men inside a black Dodge Grand Caravan that was attempting to flee.
That same day, one of the two men — 32-year-old Clayton Pierce of Mission — was charged in relation to the November 2024 Hatzic break and enter.
“The [Hatzic] break and enter charge comes as the result of an ongoing investigation by Mission RCMP,” Mounties said.
“Investigators note that the allegedly stolen firearms have not yet been recovered, and other suspects are still outstanding.”
Police say Pierce remains in police custody with a bail hearing scheduled for Jan. 15 in Abbotsford Provincial Court.
Anyone with any information about the Hatzic break and enter or who may know the location of the stolen property is asked to call the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
