Police looking for man wanted in alleged assault near York Mills subway station

Toronto Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an assault investigation in the York Mills and Yonge Street area.

Police say the incident happened on Dec. 15, when the man left the York Mills subway station around 6 p.m. and got into a dispute where he allegedly assaulted another person.

Officers arrested the man, who later fled from police custody. Police describe him as approximately 20-years-old, with black curly hair.

He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket with a white “North Face” logo on the rear right shoulder, a red hoodie, a black neck warmer, black and white checkered pyjama pants, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
