Surrey police ask for witnesses after pedestrian hit by pickup truck
The Surrey RCMP is asking for witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck Friday evening.
Police say they were called to 88th Avenue near 144th Street just before 8 p.m.
“The truck was making a left-hand turn, westbound onto 88th Avenue when it struck the pedestrian, resulting in significant injuries,” Mounties said.
“The driver of the pickup truck is cooperating with police.”
The pedestrian has not been identified and has been taken to hospital in critical condition.
