1 hospitalized after house fire in York
One person was taken to hospital with serious, non life-threatening injuries after a house fire in York on Thursday night.
Toronto Fire responded to calls for a fire at a two-storey home on Aileen Avenue, near Scott Road.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home.
One occupant was taken to hospital.
The fire was doused, but crews remained on scene checking for hot spots.
It’s not clear what started the blaze at this point.
