Toronto police have arrested four men allegedly connected to as many as eight retail robberies across the city, with investigators sharing video footage of one of the incidents.

Authorities said officers responded to robberies between Jan. 18, 2023, and Feb. 2, 2024.

In these incidents, four men would enter a store while wearing masks to disguise their identities, and while inside, police said they indicated they were armed with a weapon and demanded money.

The men took a quantity of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene. In one robbery, a suspect brandished a firearm.

The accused face similar offences, including robbery with a firearm and robbery, among other charges.

They were scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 2.
