5 suspects wanted in shooting that injured youth in Pickering

Five people are wanted in connection to a shooting that left a youth injured in Pickering Tuesday night.

Durham police were called to the area of Kingston and Valley Farm roads just after 10 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

The victim was located on the scene suffering from a bullet wound. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.

Five suspects fled on foot before police arrived.

The shooting occurred at a residential complex at 1580 Kingston Rd. and officers found one residence had been shot at.

Police have released the following suspect descriptions:

  • Suspect #1 is described as wearing a dark coloured hooded sweater, dark pants and black shoes.
  • Suspect #2 is described as wearing a light-coloured sweater with dark shoulders and dark pants.
  • Suspect #3 is described as wearing a grey sweater and grey pants.
  • Suspect #4 is described as wearing a white jacket, dark pants and bright shoes.
  • Suspect #5 is described as wearing a white hat, grey jacket, grey pants and black shoes.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has security camera footage is asked to contact police.
