Section of HWY 15 closes in Surrey after pedestrian hit by vehicle

A section of Highway 15 in Surrey has been closed for several hours due to a motor vehicle incident involving a pedestrian Thursday afternoon, BC Emergency Health Services tells 1130 NewsRadio.

“BC Emergency Health Services received a call at 5:04 p.m. today about a motor vehicle incident involving a pedestrian near 26th Avenue and 176 Street in Surrey,” a BCEHS spokesperson said.

“Two ambulances for the Primary Care Paramedics and an Advanced Care Paramedic Response Unit attended the scene, and paramedics did not transport any patients to hospital.”

As of 9 p.m. Thursday, the road remains closed.
