Pedestrian struck by TTC bus near Ossington Station

Toronto police say one man is in hospital after being struck by a TTC bus around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

The incident happened near Bloor Street and Ossington Avenue.

Officers say the man was taken on an emergency run to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Police have not determined what caused the crash and an investigation is now underway. 

The TTC has issued an alert to advise commuters that the 63 Ossington bus will not be stopping near Ossington Station due to the collision.

No other details were released.
