Police looking to identify individuals involved in assaults at protests in Brampton and Mississauga.
Peel Police are looking to identify individuals after violence broke out at Hindu and Sikh places of worship last month in Brampton and Mississauga.
Police say after protests at a Mandir on The Gore Road in Brampton on November 3 and related incidents at the Westwood Mall in Mississauga, a task force was established to investigate several incidents between protesters.
Five people have been charged to date, and police anticipate making additional arrests.
Investigators have released photos of persons of interest or suspects responsible for several offences including assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, assaulting a police officer and public incitement of hatred.

As a result of the violence, Brampton city council recently passed a motion that bans protests within one hundred metres of a place of worship.
