Man wanted for sexual assault near Yonge-Dundas Square

Toronto police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection with a sexual assault investigation in the downtown core.

According to investigators, the man began following a woman near Yonge-Dundas Square at approximately 8:00 p.m. on October 18. When the woman stopped at a stop light, the man allegedly sexually assaulted her and then fled the area.

He is described as five-foot-seven with a medium build and black facial hair. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, a white/black baseball hat and blue pants.

Investigators encourage anyone with information to contact police.
