Worker dies in Toronto after fall from ladder in billboard accident

A man has died in an industrial accident after he fell from a ladder while working on a billboard in Toronto’s west end, police said on Monday.

First responders were called to the Bathurst Street and Dupont Street area in Seaton Village just after 8:30 a.m. for reports of an incident involving a worker.

Police said a man was working on a billboard when he fell from his ladder. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ministry of Labour has been notified, and the investigation is ongoing. Paramedics and Toronto Fire officials remain on site.
