One dead after possible impaired driving collision in Delta

One person has died following a head-on collision that sent three people to hospital March 5.

Shortly after 3:00 p.m. on March 5, the Delta Police Department (DPD) responded to a two-vehicle crash in near 62B and 60th Avenue., where they determined a head-on collision had occurred.

The drivers of both of the vehicles, as well as a passenger in the second vehicle, were taken to hospital. Police say the driver of the second vehicle died Tuesday.

The driver of the first vehicle was arrested for impaired driving on scene. Their charges have not yet been forwarded to Crown Counsel.
