Police incident unfolding at Maple Ridge home

The Ridge Meadows RCMP says officers are currently at a home located near Gillis Place and Harrison Street to gather information for an ongoing Missing Persons Investigation.

The Lower Mainland District Regional Police Service’s forensics team and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) are on scene outside the home as well.

A forensics tarp has also been set up.

According to IHIT, a potential criminal incident may have occurred at the residence, prompting them to secure the area for an extensive period of time.

Earlier on Wednesday, a large police presence was reported at the Maple Ridge home.
