Richmond man dies in single-vehicle crash
Police are looking for more information after a fatal crash in Vancouver Sunday night.
The VPD responded to an on-board vehicle alert system after a crash on the south end of Main Street, near East Kent Avenue, just before 11 p.m.
“It was a single vehicle collision into a concrete barrier,” Sgt. Steve Addison told 1130 NewsRadio.
“The driver received medical attention — attempts to save his life. Sadly, he did die.”
Addison identified the driver as a 58-year-old Richmond man.
While early into the investigation, officers do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
If you have dashcam video to share, you’re asked to contact the VPD.
