The Toronto Raptors are finalizing a deal to acquire Canadian Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji from the Utah Jazz in exchange for Kira Lewis, Otto Porter and a 2024 first-round pick.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the deal on Thursday.

Olynyk is averaging 8.1 points per game with Utah this year while shooting nearly 40 per cent from three-point range. He’s a 10-year veteran of the NBA and a long-time member of Canada’s national team.

Agbaji is a 23-year-old guard who was primarily playing a backup role with Utah, averaging 5.4 points in 51 games this season.

Lewis Jr. played just one game with the Raptors after being acquired earlier this month from the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the trade that sent Pascal Siakam to the Indiana Pacers.

Porter Jr., who signed a multi-year deal with Toronto ahead of the 2022-23 season, has played in just 23 games this season due to injuries.
