Police are investigating after a suspicious fire in Abbotsford early Thursday morning.

The Abbotsford Police Department says officers responded to the fire at business on Peardonville Road between Queen Street and Townline Road around 5:30 a.m.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple vehicles in the business parking lot had been deliberately set on fire,” said a police statement Friday.

AbbyPD says no one was reported injured, but the damage was “extensive.”

Investigators are seeking a suspicious vehicle described as a light-coloured SUV. Video from the scene shows the vehicle entering and leaving a business parking lot.
