Abbotsford police say they’re investigating after a targeted shooting Thursday morning.

The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says it responded to reports of shots fired at a home on Holly Street around 7:45 a.m.

When officers arrived, they confirmed no injuries were reported.

“AbbyPD believes this incident to be targeted,” police said.

Minutes later, a vehicle fire was reported at the Bradner Road Rest Area.

“Officers arrived and learned from witnesses that individuals were seen running from what is believed to be the suspect vehicle.”

Police reportedly set up a large presence in the area, and two suspects were found with the help of the police dog service.

“Those men currently remain in police custody. Investigators believe that a third suspect remains outstanding and was last seen in the area of Highway 1 and Bradner Road.”

Witnesses and drivers who captured dashcam footage near both locations are asked to call the AbbyPD and quote file 2024-50678.
