All lanes clear westbound HWY 1 at Kensington

DriveBC says all lanes have cleared on Highway 1 westbound at Kensington after a crash had multiple lanes blocked earlier.

Callers report multiple vehicles involved.

We have reached out to BC Emergency Health Services for more information.

Expect major delays as backup clears.

Editor’s note: a previous version of this story said the highway westbound was closed other than the HOV lane. In fact, all lanes were blocked other than the HOV lane. The highway has since fully cleared.
