At least 8 injured in plane crash at Toronto Pearson Airport

At least eight people have been injured following a plane crash Toronto Pearson International Airport. 

Toronto Pearson said the incident happened upon landing and involved a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis.

Peel Paramedic Services say there were close to 80 people on board. It’s unclear how serious the injuries are at this time.

Ornge confirmed three air ambulance helicopters and one of their Critical Care Land Ambulances have been dispatched to respond to the crash.

Sources tell The Leader Spirit all security and customs checkpoints have been closed at this time.
