RCMP are looking for a B.C. man last seen hiking in Banff National Park who has been missing since Wednesday.

Mounties, Parks Canada, and other partners are looking for 42-year-old Chad Singer from Radium, B.C., who started his hike near Aurora Creek Trail east of Radium Hot Springs on July 23.

He was last seen hiking on Marvel Pass in Banff National Park at around 2 p.m. and is now overdue.

Police add that the trail system can connect to trails near Marvel Lake and the trail network between Sunshine Mountain, Banff and Mount Shark in Kananaskis.

Meanwhile, Singer is described as being 5’11” tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, and wearing a burgundy sweater, black shorts, and carrying a small black pack.

“If you are hiking in this area, please be aware and keep your eyes open for him,” police said.

Police ask anyone with information regarding Singer’s whereabouts to contact the Banff RCMP at 403-762-2226. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
