Burnaby cyclist injured after car collision

A 21-year-old cyclist sustained minor injuries, including an injured elbow, after she collided with a car in Burnaby on Saturday.

The Burnaby RCMP says the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at Southridge Drive and Byrnepark Drive.

Mounties say the woman was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and has cooperated with the ongoing investigation.
