The Delta Police Department says that during a traffic stop in the city back in September, officers found 87 kilograms of suspected MDMA.

The incident reportedly happened on Sept. 6, but Delta Police only just released details of the seizures on Thursday.

According to police, the “suspicious” vehicle was stopped in North Delta and the occupants were arrested.

“[The suspects were released at the scene pending further investigation,” the DPD shared.

“This significant seizure underscores the prevalence of high-level drug trafficking activities affecting British Columbia, including the community of Delta,” the police department continued.
