Diesel leak closes Homer Street in downtown Vancouver

The Vancouver Fire Rescue Services Hazardous Materials team says it was called out to Homer Street near East Georgia Sunday morning due to a diesel leak.

“8 VFRS apparatus containing the spill,” firefighters said in a post on X. “Expect delays in the area.”

As of 11 a.m. Sunday, Homer Street remained closed.
