driver allegedly flashed gun at school kids

Mounties in Maple Ridge are investigating after a driver allegedly threatened high school students who threw a snowball at a vehicle.
The Ridge Meadows RCMP says a group of students were playing outside on the grounds of Garibaldi Secondary School during the lunch hour on Wednesday.
Police say the students threw a snowball at a nearby vehicle.
“Police were advised the driver of the vehicle was believed to have flashed a handgun at the students,” said RCMP.
When officers arrived, they were reportedly unable to find the driver or the vehicle.
A letter from school administrators to parents said the RCMP’s presence was “precautionary, and there was no risk to student safety.”
Mounties say the incident is still under investigation.
