Driver strikes, seriously injures pedestrian in Burnaby: RCMP
Police in Burnaby are seeking witnesses after a driver struck and injured a pedestrian in the early hours of Friday morning.
BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) says it responded to the scene of the collision near the intersection of Kingsway and Elgin Avenue around 1:45 a.m.
“Paramedics provided emergency medical care to one patient who was transported to hospital in serious condition,” said Brian Twaites with BCEHS.
The Burnaby RCMP says the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
