‘General Hospital’ actor Anthony Geary dead at 78

Soap opera star Anthony Geary, who played the role of Luke Spencer for more than four decades on “General Hospital” has died, according to multiple media reports.

Geary passed away on Sunday at the age of 78 following complications from a scheduled operation three days earlier, TV Insider reported. His husband, Claudio Gama told the publication, “It was a shock for me and our families and our friends. For more than 30 years, Tony has been my friend, my companion, my husband.”
