Spring is just around the corner and the B.C. Home and Garden Show is back to mark the occasion.

The show begins Thursday and runs through until Sunday at BC Place.

With looming tariffs from the U.S., the Home and Garden Show is the perfect place to show support for local businesses.

“It’s a one-stop shop for inspiration, practical advice, and access to some of the best local businesses. Over 95 per cent of our exhibitors are Canadian businesses which means when you shop and connect at the show, you’re supporting local entrepreneurs and the Canadian economy,” Madelyne Lemieux, the show’s co-ordinator, told 1130 NewsRadio.

The show features a wealth of exhibitors specializing in home décor, health and wellbeing, garden and landscape, windows and doors, and pools, just to name a few.

“I’m so excited for our attendees to experience the features,” Lemieux said. “We have some great ones, including Hewing House. It’s a small-scale vacation home that show goers can tour, offering great inspiration for maximizing their small spaces.”

Design expert and TV personality Sarah Richardson leads the roster of experts appearing this year.

“She’ll be sharing her insights and tips on designing the perfect space during her live demonstrations on Friday and Saturday,” Lemieux said. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s most recognized home design experts.”

The show runs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
