Incoming BC NDP director Dan Coulter hospitalized after ‘serious medical emergency’ Incoming BC NDP director Dan Coulter hospitalized
The incoming director for the BC NDP has been hospitalized due to a “serious medical emergency,” the party announced Friday.
It isn’t clear what has happened, but Heather Stoutenburg, the party’s provincial director, says former Chilliwack MLA Dan Coulter is in hospital and his family is travelling to be with him.
In a statement, Stoutenburg says the BC NDP has been through a lot lately.
This announcement comes a day after Children and Family Development Minister Grace Lore announced a cancer diagnosis, and about a month after former premier John Horgan’s death after a third bout with cancer.
