Fifteen more people have tested positive for covid19 on Tuesday. According to the Ministry of health’s daily update, the total number of active cases is now 573.
Seven people from the country’s recent cases are from a group of repatriated citizens.
The total number of positive cases is 6,900. From this number 6,204 patients have recovered. Deaths recorded stands at 123. The country reported its last covid19 death on Sunday.
The ministry’s 4 pm update on Tuesday said 31 patients were hospitalised with 504 people in home self-isolation. Of the 504 people, 177 are prisoners under the care of the prison system.
Twenty-three people are in step-down facilities waiting to be discharged and 402 people are in state quarantine. Four patients from Tobago covid19 facility have been discharged and 20 patients in home isolation have recovered.
