A 39-year-old Sangre Grande man is dead after he tried to part a fight at a bar on Tuesday night.
Police said Darron McDavid was on the Toco Main Road, Matura, at around 8.45 pm when he saw a fight between two people he knew, one of whom was armed with a knife
He was stabbed once in the left side of his midsection during the fracas.
Police said McDavid walked a short distance to the Honey Corner Bar where he collapsed.
