Large RCMP presence at Tsawwassen terminal, arrests made

A special RCMP unit was present at the Tsawwassen terminal on Wednesday morning.

According to BC Ferries, the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) made arrests at the terminal.

However, the RCMP presence was unrelated to BC Ferries.

“There is no impact to BC Ferries operations or services,” said spokesperson Shiryn Sayani.

The Delta Police Department says the incident did not involve officers from the local law enforcement.
