Man, 23, wanted in violent assault of another man in Little Italy
Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old man wanted in connection with a violent assault in Little Italy last year.
Investigators say around 6 a.m. on Nov. 17, 2023, two men were involved in a physical altercation in the area of College Street and Ossington Avenue. One of the men then produced a knife and stabbed the other before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police say the suspect and victim were known to each other.
Abdirahman Ahmed, 23, of no fixed address is wanted for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and disobeying a lawful order of the court.
Ahmed is described as being approximately six feet tall with a thin build and black hair.
