Vancouver police say a 30-year-old man has been apprehended under the Mental Health Act after a vehicle was driven into the Pacific Coliseum.

The collision happened while a Cirque du Soleil performance was taking place inside the venue.

Police reporting no one was injured and the incident does not appear to be an act of terrorism.

A black BMW with a damaged front end could be seen in the entryway with debris scattered around.

It happened just after 8pm Thursday, and Police say the investigation is in the very early stages.
