Man arrested after police incident in Surrey Friday

A man has been arrested after an incident in Surrey that involved multiple police officers Friday.

Officers from the Surrey Police Service (SPS) and the RCMP were called to the scene at 139th Street and 94A Avenue.

“Surrey Police Service attended for a mischief,” Sgt. Tige Pollock, media relations officer, told The Leader Spirit.



“The male was contained, and LMD ERT [Lower Mainland District Emergency Response Team] attended to assist. The male was taken into custody.”

A video taken at the scene shows a police dog pulling the suspect along a driveway before officers made the arrest.
