Man found suffering from stab wounds in downtown

Police are investigating after a man was found suffering from stab wounds in the downtown.

Investigators were called to the Dundas Street East and Church Street area just after 7:30 p.m. Friday night.

When they arrived they found a man suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds to the neck area.

Paramedics say he was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

There was no immediate suspect description or further details as to what may have led up to the incident.
