Man injured in Brampton shooting

A man has been injured in a shooting in Brampton Wednesday night.

Peel police were called to Worthington Avenue and Bovaird Drive just after 9 p.m.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Suspects fled the area, but not further details have been released.
