The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is searching for a man in a trespassing-at-night investigation in the city’s downtown core while noting that the same suspect is wanted on various charges province-wide.

Officers were notified of an incident in the Henry Street and Baldwin Street area just before 4 p.m. on Nov. 10. The suspect is alleged to have attended the victim’s address in the early morning hours on two separate occasions.

The accused allegedly peered into the victim’s windows and loitered on the property. Police said the suspect is not known to the victim.

Authorities identified the accused as 52-year-old George Braid of Toronto. He’s wanted for trespassing at night.

TPS said Braid is also wanted for other offences spanning different jurisdictions, including failing to comply with the Durham Regional Police Service, failing to comply with the TPS Sex Crimes Unit, voyeurism and trespassing at night with the York Regional Police Service, and failing to comply with probation with the Barrie Police Service.

The accused is described as five feet eleven inches, 181 pounds, of medium build, with short grey hair, blue eyes, and clean-shaven. His photo has been released.
