Maple Ridge multi-vehicle crash sends two to hospital
Two drivers were seriously injured in a crash on a Maple Ridge road Tuesday morning.
BC Emergency Health Services says paramedics were called to the intersection of Laity Street and 123rd Avenue shortly after 7 a.m.
Images from the scene show Ridge Meadows RCMP officers blocking the street around two damaged silver sedans.
“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to two patients who were transported to hospital, one in serious condition and one in serious but stable condition,” said Paramedic Public Information Officer Brian Twaites in a statement to The Leader Spirit.
Mounties say the intersection will remain closed as investigators from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services (ICARS) are at work.
Witnesses or those with dashcam footage who have not yet spoken to police are asked to call the Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251 and quote file #2025-21393.
