Mobility bike for child with special needs stolen in Maple Ridge

The Ridge Meadows RCMP is turning to the public for help locating a stolen mobility bike belonging to a child with special needs.

At around 1:30 p.m. Friday, officers were flagged down by a resident outside a store on 224th Street near 118th Avenue in Maple Ridge.



“Officers learned that an electronic mobility bike was stolen off a bike rack in the northwest corner outside the store at around 1 p.m.,” Mounties said.

“The bike belongs to the child who requires the bike to get around.”

The bike is a black Volt Trio Trike with a car seat on the back.



Anyone with information of surveillance footage is asked to call the Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251 and refer to file 2025-26591.
