Mounties seek witnesses to fatal Kamloops semi truck accident

The RCMP is looking for any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to help in the investigation of a fatal accident east of Kamloops last week.
Two semi trucks collided on Highway 97 at Monte Creek around 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, police say.
One driver died in the head-on collision. The other driver survived and was taken to hospital.
Investigators say one of the trucks failed to manoeuvre a curve and crossed the centre line.
Anyone with any information or dashcam footage is being asked to call the BC Highway Patrol at 250-828-3111, ext. 2. Investigators are interested in any footage from before the accident to show pre-accident driving behaviour, as well as any video of the scene after the incident.
