A man was arrested and charged in relation to a series of thefts from vehicles in Delta earlier this week.

The Delta Police Department (DPD) says it received several reports of ‘Theft From Auto’ in the overnight hours of Aug. 3.

In an update Thursday, police say a 32-year-old man was arrested.

“The male remains in custody on outstanding warrants and charges have been approved for Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation Order,” said the DPD.

Following his arrest, officers reportedly recovered over 50 items, including charging cables, sunglasses, dashcams and more.

Police are seeking reports from anyone else who had their vehicles broken into on Aug. 3.
