New West police look for crash footage

Police in New Westminster are appealing to the public after a driver involved in a car crash Sunday reportedly ran from the scene.

The collision at 6^th Avenue and McBride Boulevard happened between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., the New Westminster Police Department says.

The NWPD is now asking for anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area or anyone who witnessed the incident, to reach out to police.

“Dash cam footage from vehicles traveling in either direction through the intersection … is of interest to investigators,” NWPD said Monday.
