North Vancouver Police seek witnesses in collision

The North Vancouver RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision Sunday.
The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Lonsdale Avenue and 14th Street.
Witnesses allege that the driver of a white Tesla struck the motorcyclist while attempting to make a left turn.
“Several bystanders rushed to help the motorcyclist, who sustained serious, potentially life-altering injuries and was transported to the hospital by paramedics,” said a release Monday.
The area was closed to traffic for several hours while police gathered evidence.
Investigators are now looking to speak with additional witnesses who may have seen the incident.
They’re also hoping to locate the driver of a second white Tesla that was seen in the area prior to the collision, as its dashcam may hold “crucial footage.”
If you have any information to share about the crash, you’re asked to please contact the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file number #25-12226.
