Northbound lanes moving again after stall on Alex Fraser Bridge

Published

on

A stalled vehicle on the Alex Fraser Bridge had northbound traffic into New Westminster snarled Thursday morning.

The middle three lanes were blocked near the opening of the bridge as crews clear vehicles.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio reported that the bridge cleared around 8:20 a.m.

Traffic is still sluggish as far back as Highway 10 near the Surrey/Delta border.

Drivers can take Highway 99 to the George Massey Tunnel to avoid the worst of delays.
