One man injured in Surrey shooting, police

A morning shooting in Surrey’s Green Timbers area has left one man injured, police say.

The Surrey RCMP says it was called to the 9100 block of 147th Street just after 1 a.m. on Saturday.

Upon arrival, police say they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds who was then transported to hospital. The extent of his injuries are yet to be confirmed.

An investigation is currently underway and the RCMP says a motive has not been determined.
