Pedestrian, cyclist and two cars struck by a truck on College St.
Toronto police responded to a major collision on Wednesday evening after a driver in a pickup truck allegedly struck two pedestrians, a cyclist and at least two other vehicles.
Officers say the crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. near College Street and St. George Street, which is west of Queen’s Park and just south of the University of Toronto campus.
According to police, three people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, including a female pedestrian in her 20s, a male cyclist in his 50s and a male pedestrian in his 40s.
Police say an investigation is ongoing.
Road closures were in effect for nearly three hours and reopened around 7:30 p.m.
No other details were released.
