Pedestrian dies after being hit by SUV in South Vancouver
The Vancouver Police Department says it is investigating after a pedestrian was hit by an SUV in South Vancouver Saturday afternoon.
Police say they were called to the area of East 41st Avenue near the east lane of Culloden Street just after 5 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a 78-year-old woman had been hit by a black Range Rover.
The woman died at the scene despite life-saving measures by first responders.
The driver remained on scene.
